I had never been to Pt. Reyes prior to last night, and I sped home the two and a half hours so I could see these images on the computer. While our surroundings were gorgeous, the Hansen family made these photos pop like champagne. Their laughter and silliness were contagious, and I loved every minute of this extended three-location destination shoot.
Photographing kids can be tricky. Let’s be real, driving around from place to place and having your photo taken on a Saturday evening is not on the top of most people’s list of things to do, even if the photographer is your auntie. But my niece and nephew were fantastic little models and brought all the fun to each place we visited. They were game for all my crazy antics, and I think the results speak for themselves.
It’s always an honor to do good in the world, and taking these photos for my sister and brother-in-law make me extra grateful to be able to help those who serve our country. Dual-member service is not for the faint of heart, and these photos are a small thank you from me to them!
