Being an 80's baby, my first photographs were from one-time use film cameras. I was so impatient to receive my photographs back from the local drug store. I was also so shocked at how horrible they were. Nevertheless, I was hooked. After decades of photographing my own life, I am ready to share my passion and joy for photography with others. I am honored to capture the events that matter most to you and your family. I am eager to photograph everything from your wedding and your child's birth to family, child, and pet portraits.
Photography is my 'other' job. I work in the corporate world M-F. My 20 plus year career is challenging and analytical, and I love my work. But I also love the arts- writing, painting, and using a hot glue gun. This creativity fills my soul and excites me. My fear is that if I ever worked full-time at my passions that the engine might die. Silly, I know. For now, I want just enough work to fuel my engine without the risk of burnout. I never want to lose my love for art.
I'm an open book, heart-on-my-sleeve gal, and my philosophy reflects my honest nature. I strive to take meaningful photographs that reflect my clients' true selves. The customer experience is as important to me as the photographs you will hang on your walls.
While I'm not new to photography, I am new to shooting weddings. As such, I am offering limited quantities of very discounted weddings to build my portfolio in 2024. Courthouse? Backyard? Beach? Winery? You name it! I am eager to shoot it. All packages include an engagement session. Send me a message today, and I will call to discuss your event with you. I will prepare a timeline and proposal for us to discuss in person. Please, bring your soon-to-be! It is so important that we all feel comfortable.
Bring me your family reunions, newborns, seniors, or maternity - I want to see it all! I dream of shooting everything from home births to a centenarian's birthday. I recently photographed a CLUE-themed 80th birthday that was so fun. I've been honored to shoot services for a loyal fur baby as he crossed over the rainbow bridge. No ask is too trivial; no idea is too eccentric. I prefer natural lighting whenever possible, but those in-home sessions are just as sweet. I can't wait to get to know you and your family!
